    Unable to open device

Hello, I am trying to connect my A1200 to the internet via a Orinoco Wireless Network card 802.11b 11Mps. I think I have installed all the drivers. Everytime I try to connect to the network via Miami I always get "unable to open device". Is someone able to offer some sort of sollution? Many thanks in advance!

Can you give a bit more detail.

How have you installed the network card?

Which version of Workbench? Which drivers and software are you using?

Is your wireless network encrypted with a WEP key? Is the wireless router set to announce its existence to the world so the Amiga can see it? Or is it set to only accept incoming connections from predefined wireless clients?

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

I have installed the PCMC010 disk supplied by Amikit.
My operating system is OS 3.9
I use the Prism2 driver obtained via Aminet
    I use Miami as software
The router is WEP enabled and is set to announce its existence to the world
Everytime I try to configure Miami, I get the message "unable to open device"

    Cheers!
