These are some of the remains of my company phone, an HTC Touch Cruise. Managed to drop this without noticing while crossing a road with high traffic earlier today. It was in one of those sideways holders, so must have jumped out as I jogged across. By the time I noticed and came back for it, it had been there for 15-20 minutes. Probably been ran over three hundred times by an assortment of cars and buses, and the odd semi. There is just about
nothing left of it. Oddly the display hasn't cracked, and the sim was whole. Battery is severely dented but might work. Apart from that,
everything is busted. Even the damn MicroSD card broke in half. Looks like I couldn't have dropped it in a worse place, it's total carnage. But oh well, at least it didn't belong to me. The job will send me a new one.
Too bad about the MicroSD card though, I'd bought a larger one than the one that came with the phone for it myself.

Nice job at destroying it.
Quite amazing that the screen remained undamaged. Although recently I think many companies have been working hard on making tougher screens that can withstand heavy use. It seems they got that bit right. They just need to work on the build quality of the case now!
Good job it was a business phone so you don't lose out on anything. Shame about the SD card. At least they are quite cheap now.
