Forum was down for long time and you're asking what we're watching

Coolness factor 11/10

We're at episode 6 for Fallout, is ok so far.

Yeah DC has a point, we were mostly watching loading screens or browser error messages

Lady T and her sister watched the Waco documentary, and the one about the Twin Flames - man there's some weird cult shit out there. I fell asleep though, so I might have to watch them again.

Speaking of docos, have you seen the 3-parter on Netflix about Woodstock 99? That was absolutely wild, incredible, appalling, disgraceful.

I think my favourite part is when the organisers were all "We told Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit that the crowd were all riled up and he needed to calm them down, so instead he went out and acted like Fred Durst and wound them up even further".... what were they expecting this guy, who is known for being a bit of an asshole, to go out and do other than be an asshole.

But then it turned from amusement to horror, some of the stuff that went on, like the assaults... just dreadful, inexcusable.

I finally watched the rest of 3 Body Problem and it's a really good complex story with some very intriguing scientific ideas and concepts. It was good enough that I will be watching season 2 when it comes out. But its one of those series you have to wade through a bit. I had to be in the mood to watch it.

It did make me want to read the book to see how closely it was adapted, as the book is written by a Chinese author and completely set in China. Whereas the series is set in both China, the UK and the US.

Another I ended up binge watching as it was all released on day 1 was the ITV series Red Eye. Really good. About a Doctor who arrives in the UK on a flight from China but they won't let him though the airport. The Chinese government have accused him of murdering a woman in China and want him returned. He, along with all him doctor associates from the same plane are turned around and start to be flown back to China.

I just started Dead Boy Detectives on Netflix. This is a fun supernatural detective series featuring a couple of dead friends running their own detective agency catching other ghosts and sending them to the grim reaper.

I watched 3 Body Problem and found it to be good, although no masterpiece, definitely has its ups and downs. Apparently a lot of people that are complaining say that the series is rushed through the books thus not liking it so much.

We've been watching the new-ish version of Walker (texas ranger). Jared Padelecki - the tall one, Sam, from Supernatural plays the lead and while I quite like him, frankly I'm just not sure he can really act.

It's a bit.... low budget and shit.... reminds me a bit of the Lorenzo Lamas series 'Renegade' but with much lamer set pieces. And yet, I find it quite good easy watching. I can fall asleep during an episode and not really lose track of much of what's happening and at this stage of my life that is both a plus, and also is damning with faint praise.
