Thread: The Amiga A500 Mini

I know this has been out for 2 years, and I wasn't intending to buy one of these as I don't really have a need for it, but it came up on Amazon in their Prime day sales this week so I grabbed one.

I was reading recently about the mods available which is what changed my mind. The Pandory mod gives you full access to the Amiga 500 Mini allowing you to run native programs such as RetroArch. But also things like Amiberry 5.

A site supporting the Amiga Mini with links and guides is at https://www.amiga500mini.com/

And another reviewing Pandory v2 at:

There was also a good review of the Amiga Mini in the Guardian UK newspaper. Surprising, as most mainstream media make a mess about covering such things normally.

Does anyone else own one? I actually have a bit of spare time this morning, so am off to unbox and have a quick play.

.
Keith Stuart is a pretty good games journo, he's certainly lived that life, rather than just be asked to write about it. Similar age to us, so was part of the 8 and 16 bit eras, he has written about those times before.
