I enjoyed WipeOut too. For me the most enjoyable recent driving game has been
Hotshot Racing. It's in some ways like the original Burnouts (without the cool crashes though) in the way that it plays. Or a Ridge Racer but with more a bit more glitz and humour.
It's a fun racer, and well worth the bargain entry price.

Wipeout has always been great, and the PS4 version Omega collection, which brings together all the tracks abd racers from the PSP version along with the PS4 version is great. Also supports VR which is mad.
I really wish they would make a new Ridge Racer, but sticking to the series roots. I got so addicted to those games on the PS1. Still liked RR6 on the PS3, but not as much. PS1 R4 and the PSP RR2 are both on PS4/5 now with HD upscaled graphics, but it's not the same as a new game.
