The first new pc I built in 1998 was a PII 400Hz running Win98. Great machine at the time. And it was mind blowing moving on from my Amiga A4000 with 25MHz 030 and 16MB ram, to something with 400MHz and 256MB ram. Obviously being a pc all that extra power didn't quite translate in the same way it would had it been an Amiga!
