Christmas does seem like a normal time to get ill. Don't know why. A few years ago, I was ill at Christmas, and I couldn't taste anything. We had this lovely-looking Christmas dinner, and I couldn't taste any of it

I couldn't taste any of the lovely dinner my wife cooked today.

I've had some cool star wars presents including X-Wing Miniatures Mellenium Falcon and Slave 1. And my brother in law bought me a smart phone controlled drone. Can't wait to try that out.

I'm actually ill, since the 24th. Came back from Finland yesterday, can tell you that it's definitely not the nicest to take planes when you're sick. Plus today I'm back at work, I'm alone here, so I can't take a sicky, fighting a bit with coughing, nose running and temperature fluctuation. And my doctor is also off this week, so I have to manage this somehow.

My flu has reached the point of losing my voice completely today, but I'm feeling a bit better. At least I have this week off as holiday and not back until the 3rd Jan.

WOW! - A Technics SL-P222A CD player. Last time I saw mine was when waving goodbye to my Ex-wife back in 1994. ......Still loving my Marantz Signature tho'.

Shame some of you guys have been ill this festive period. Deb has had a cold since Boxing day & so far, I appear to be clear for taking the spare room & refusing to kiss her. I hope everyone suffering other peoples germs currently, are in a better mood for New Years Eve. Such a bad time of the year to have a cold.

I must have been a good boy this year at some point....

I'm quite enjoying the CD player. Someone in an IRC channel suggested it as it did everything I wanted, and this particular one was going quite cheap on ebay (cost about £25 delivered, and included the original remote control).

I haven't really had any illnesses this Christmas I'm pleased to say. I had a sore throat, but that has cleared up now, and I hurt my back the other day, but that is better now.

I'm still feeling ill. Horrible barking cough and really blocked up. And headache that won't clear. Definitely won't be doing anything to see in the new year.
