PCIe was first released in 2004 and started to dominate by 2006. I think the last AGP card I owned was the ATi Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB. Great card at the time. That was in an Athlon XP system. The next system I built was around an Athlon 64 3700+ with a PCIe nvidia 7800GT.
