Rik Mayall has died today, aged just 56.

Very sad news and an end to ever seeing a Bottom reunion.

I know comedy in the UK will certainly miss him. The Young Ones was just as brilliant as anything he was involved in.

Yep, like many here I guess I grew up watching this comedy genius in action. Such a shame and my heart goes out to his family. Rip.

Why haven't I heard it anywhere on the media new, you would think they would mention something like this.
Now I find out almost two months later by accident.

The Netherlands, but Rik Mayall was known here for his roles in The Young Ones and Bottom.

Nice to know he had an international audience and followers. Been some huge losses to the entertainment business this year.
