Thread: On a trip again
Demon Cleaner 08:17 31st August 2013
I'm once again on holiday, shortly after being in Finland for almost 2 weeks.

We left with the car yesterday, and went first to Alsace in France, but only for half day. Then we continued to Switzerland, to Fiesch, where I was already many times, mainly as a kid, and last time I was here, was around 1992, first time was in 1980. Nothing really changed during all these years, and that's good like that. My girlfriend was never here, neither in Switzerland, and today I will show here the Aletschgletscher, the biggest glacier here in Europe, we will take the cable car to go up to 3000m, and you have a breathtaking view, I will post some pictures once we're back.

Tomorrow we will leave and go to Lago Maggiore in Italy for 4 days before returning home.

I love going up mountains in cable cars in Austria. Never been to Switzerland though.

Those are some amazing locations you visited. And some great photos too.

I really like the look of the architecture of Kaysersberg. Definitely would like to visit there. Is it true there is a fortress overlooking it?

There's many fortresses around that region, it's nice to visit. Like you said, they're up the hills, and overlooking the whole region. I was already many times in the Alsace, mainly to taste and buy wine. Alsace is only about 230km away from me, so it's only a 2 hours drive.
