Black Mesa is a community project that has been in development since 2004. It's a complete remake of the original Half-Life using the Source engine (final version is based on the 2007 Orange Box version of Source). It goes much further than the official Half-Life:Source direct port ever did, remaking the levels, texture maps etc.

Such a shame it's not the complete game, but it was turning out to be another Duke Nukem "taking Forever" to finish so I can understand.

I'm really looking forward to playing this as I've never played Half Life, yet heard such great things about this classic!
