Hi everyone, just got back from vacations from "Porto Santo - Madeira island".
We stay in Pestana Hotel, a 5 star. So so so good!!!
It was a all included, and if anyone like beach and pool and totalk relax, this is the places.
9km of beach, with gold color sand as you can see in pictures.
Hotel is excelent!!!! And with good conditions to kids.

The island is at 43 km from Main Madeira island, it is small, with nothing to do but beach and pool and total relax....ha, so nice

I was wondering the same thing... but I suppose with locations so nice why do you need to bother.

Although personally I would be bored somewhere where you only have beaches, pools and sea. It's nice to have that where you are, but I also like to be able to go exploring, to see old places and go for long walks.

And whilst our weather in the UK is a lot more changeable (floods a few weeks ago, now 27 șC here), I often think to myself that there are so many places I've not explored in the British Isles before I go abroad again. I think we are all always so eager to get on a plane and go somewhere else in the world that we never take time to look closer to home. In the UK I've not really seen any of Scotland and only explored a small part of Wales.. plus there are loads of places in England too. About the only areas I've explored completely are the West (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset) and South coast (Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Sussex and some of Kent).

Yes i do go outside Portugal. Last november i went to suissland. I loved it. We traveled a lot by train and
We cover almost all suissland fron left to right. But not thr center north or center south.
We loved the mountains, zermatt, montvobon, interlaken, luzern, lasern, indelberg, montreux etc etc
