I allways liked the effect of Fisheye, EF that 15mm should be quite nice.

why are you looking for a 28-300mm since you have a 18-200mm with the same "f" ? Just for an extra long range shoot?
Wouln't you like to have a 300mm or more with a lower "f" instead? I know they are quite expensive... :-(

The 28-300 lens is a Canon L series lens, whereas my current 28-200 one isn't. Canon's L series lenses are their professional series white lenses. These are weather and dust sealed and have amazing build quality that can withstand any abuse. The optics are a lot more complex, with a lot more lens elements and components within them, and they produce sharper more detailed results. They also have USM focusing systems with full time manual focus override, and the zoom doesn't have the lens distortion seen in the lower priced none L lenses. Basically the L lenses are the best of the best you can get. They cost a lot more but you get something special for your money.
