Popped into a lil pc shop in portsmouth the other day and must have spent an hour or so chatting.

During the chat we got onto Amigas, he then told me he had the following.

A4000t
PPC/060 accerator
Picasaa gfx
CDRW

and lots of other stuff too. Told me he turned it on one day said "naa" then stuck it in his loft, to where it is this day!

I now need to persude him to sale it to me!!!

Not sure. Maybe offer him a realistic, but not OTT offer for it and see what he says. Money is really the only way someone will even consider offloading something they once spend time and money on.

First of all DONT SEEM TO EXCITED OR INTERESTED! Just kinda casually bring it up again, let him know your into retro/classic coputing and that bit of kit might be interesting for you to add to your collection. Downplay it as much as possible but don't be obvious. Eventually ask if he mighjt be interested in unloading it and what he might consider reasonable compensation.............
