Today at 10:30 this morning my grandfather (my mother's father) died, he was 82. They diagnosed cancer 6 weeks ago, and from that point it went very fast. They took him back to hospital 3 days ago, and for one day he was a bit better, but after that day, he got worse and worse and eventually he passed away. There comes the time for anyone of us, sadly.

Also my condolences, I have never really lost a family member to a long term disease.

My own mom passed away rather sudden when she was released from the intensive care.
