I think it's brilliant. You can tell it what to index, including bookmarks/favourites, very simple to use, and with a few keystrokes you can launch or find what you want. Saves multiple clicks sometimes.

It's very powerful with many plugins as you can see from the site. Make sure you read the hints and tips for an idea.

In XP I use Rocketdock and this for all application launches.

Not sure how Windows search 4.0 compares to it however?

Looks good. Vista's search does already work very much like that though. The search box at the bottom of the start menu can be used to start searches or launch programs, much like the old run box in XP and earlier. And because Vista indexes everything the search results are normally very fast.

I might try thing on one of my XP systems though so I can compare the 2.
