It had been announced that the RTS sequel Supreme Commander 2 is currently in development. But the really interesting news is that Gas Powered Games are collaborating with Square Enix for this sequel.
Utilising their SRPG skills this could turn out to be something special.

It definitely pushed most systems to the max on release, but more recent PCs can now run SC perfectly well. In a way I like it when new games are like this as you can get more from a game as you upgrade your hardware over time. However I equally hate it when a game is only possible to run on such hardware and the developers haven't allowed it to be degraded to run on lower spec systems.
