Tiago 00:48 26th July 2008
I bought one A600 one A1200 and an A1200 tower.

I only try the towetr today, i had a board with no video signal inside, but i try it and it works !!!! I am a lucky guy . And it has a 3GB HD and a working floppy !!!

The 3 itens for 100 euros and no delivery costs, he lives 3 kilometers from me.

The tower is a : "Micronik: Infinitiv 1200",check it out on http://www.amiga-hardware.com/

The only 2 thinks i have to work know are:
- Button to eject, it's not plug in, and the case hole is not center with the button, so i have to work a solution for this.

- I have a reset switch on the case, where do i connect it? I read somewhere that i need to solder 2 pins on the mboard.... it is true?

Later i will paint it just as i did on my original A1200.

What make is the tower? Some have the reset already wired up and working, whereas others don't.

I think the micronik infintive tower has, but some others don't.

There is a way to wire it to the Amiga, by soldering the two reset switch wires to the bottom two contacts on the TP1 pins 9 and 10 location.

There is 2 wires coming out of the reset button, one goes to the board and it has 4 pins, the other is 2 pins but is not connected...
the one with 4 pins is connected very near the expansion slot:

see here

the pins have a white base

Wow, that's a bargain mate! Congratulations on your purchase. Did the 600 come with any extras?

I found this thread on EAB to show you how to create a reset switch.

Sound.
Towered 1200s are excellent for the expansion possibilities.
