Sounds like they haven't fixed anything from previous versions then. All the GTA games have had these flaws, but have all ended up being really playable because they are such great sandbox environments.

Finally got a copy, and I've got to say I don't entirely disagree with the high scores the game's been given so far.

Sure, it has its share of problems, but what game doesn't?

The small minimap and phone don't bother me that much. But that's maybe because I've gotten used to tiny minimaps in Burnout Paradise.

Ahh, but the explosions are good. I just managed a chain of 36 vehicles blowing up from one little accident!!!

So what's your kill count so far?

I've only killed about 350 ... most of them being victims of collateral damage (explosions, stray bullets etc.). I'm actually trying to stay on the good side of the law whenever possible. I dunno ... maybe I'm just not the criminal type!
