Thread: Eggman's Links
Harrison 01:08 29th January 2008
Some of you already know that the long time rom collector Eggman is finally leaving the scene to join the Canadian Forces. As promised he has posted a list of his most used sites to help fill the void he is leaving behind.

Eggman has been one of the longest running rom burners worldwide, collecting probably the largest single collection in the world and offering it to anyone on CD/DVD/HD for minimal cost. I purchased his whole collection a while back and it came on 208 DVD-Rs. Since then it expanded with the newer CD/DVD systems to fill 20 750GB HDs. Mad but dedicated collecting you have to agree.

If you want to see a bit about him you can check out his site at http://www.eggmansworld.com

He has taken down most of his rom related stuff, but if you want to see his amazing file storage server setup check it out on his site here.

I saw that he posted the links on the site, which is very useful to collectors and newbies.

How did he avoid prosecution/lawsuits and all that sort of thing? Distrubuting ROMs isn't exactly encouraged by The Man.

He kept it underground and completely word or mouth.

Thanks for the tip greencity. I had a quick look at the romcollector site and it seems to have quite a lot of stuff. Any idea who is behind the site?

Sadly not a single Commodore system on there though!
