This may be considered blasphemy for some Amiga enthusiasts, but this site has some Java converted versions of Atari ST demos.

When watching them the ST's more primitive abilities are easily visible. Even these quite basic demos show how in contrast the Amiga benefitted from it's copper and blitter effects.
