A new fw has been released by Dark Alex. I don't know if I'm gonna use it, I don't have many problems with 3.52 M33-4 so far, only PSPUAE does not work, whatever I try.

But f.ex. Monster Hunter Freedom 1&2 do not work properly on Oz' PSP with 3.71 M33-2, they freeze when trying to enter a character name, but they work just fine on mine.

Anyone some experience with any 3.71 fw?

I've stuck with the 3.52 M33-4 firmware too as it is more compatible with game ISOs than the later versions are. I may install the newer versions on my UP flash rom and keep the older 3.52 version on the main rom, than I have the best of both.

Just got around to updating my japanese PSP to 3.52 M33 firmware. I have a quick question.

If I want to play a 'back-up' umd iso, where do I shove it on the PSP's file structure?

Oh, if you haven't already, remember to format the MS after you've upgraded to the custom firmware and it creates a slightly different file structure to the official firmware, including the ISO folder.
