I have to say for me palette of the CPC is a little too purple/pink for me in many instances but in other games it's spot on. The C64 can also be too purple/brown. However when it comes to games that...
464.
Bought a SCART lead and power supply and it looks sweet.
Modded so that it has a DIN for external Cassette drive so I can plug in my TZXDuino with motor control.
Bubble Bobble 4 CPC which...
Amstrad CPC464 arrived today! All ready to be played with. Woohoo!!!
The beautiful looking, and in no way to be associated with the Vega+ fiasco, Spectrum Next kickstarter has been launched.

TZXDuino now works with .P and .O files for the ZX81 and CASDuino is working with CAS files for the Dragon/CoCo.
I've taken the plunge and decided to try to get a PCB built of the CASDuino/TZXDuino to fit in the same PP9 case that I use for my standard builds.
Piotr Bugaj (Zaxon) designed his own TZXDuino...
I just use Coinops8 On the XBox for MAME stuff and emulating any system I don't have.
Andy Johns has done another Moty Mole inspired game now.

Me too. using a Pi Zero to get HD and a better ULA with a relatively simple circuit design too. Definitely make the Spectrum Expansion slot the best on 8-bits for me.
There are two Spectrum to HD cards using the Raspberry Pi Zero due to go into production soon. Both also add the ULAPlus functionality for more colours too

As per usual I've been building and testing CAS/TZXDuino so that means Spectrum and MSX games but recently I have been try Monty's Honey Run on the Spectrum. A new Monty Mole inspired game.
Harrison. Our Resident Tim Allen. More Power. Ugh ugh ugh ugh.
Very typically Alan. Does his Del Trotter bit and uses a format that made things harder and more expensive in the long run.
3 Inch disks are so weird. Trust Alan.
I'll be honest and say that whilst it's a nice addition to the family I still prefer my +, however it's great for testing the TZXDuino on.
Managed to get me an early serial number (001800) UK Grey +2 for £11.61, untested. Had to buy a RGB to SCART cable to up the cost but it seems to work perfectly. Taken apart and cleaned (tack in the...

A new version of the TZXDuino software has been released and so far it's got 99%+ compatibility with Spectrum and Amstrad games.
...
A new version of the TZXDuino software is available and has more TZX compatibility. At the moment the biggest stumbling block is Speedlock games. We will be adding Amstrad TZX/CDT files too.
Oooh. We've managed to get some tzx and tap files to load. Still not ready for a release and the compatibility is low but it's a start.
Thank you.
Yeah. Mentioned it in the past and pointed out the blog but there has never been much interest tbh. The only reason there has been some now is because I sent one (for free) to an MSX fanatic who got...
The three versions of my cassette player replacement project are now available to buy for those who don't want to build for themselves. You can order from the Facebook page. We are also working on a...
