It's for creating custom slipstreamed versions of Windows, from the original developer of NLiteOS, which was ndola around in the XP era and not commercial back then.
I used nlite back in the XP days & liked it.
I understand NTLite is just a newer version supporting the more recent MS OS.
It's a evolution of it, but it's gone all serious now with only legal additions and licenced higher priced options for business based imaging use.
