Is Shadowgate a good game?

Hello all,

I am thinking of getting the game Shadowgate for my collection, I saw it on Mobygames and it is one of those 'outside of regular titles' games I enjoy collecting.
But still I do want to know if it is a good game. Just because it looks interesting doesn't mean it is good and I hate wasting money on bad games.

Why not try it in emulation and see if you like it first?

If you played games likes the Deja-Vu series, or Uninvited, and you like adventure games, Shadowgate is a good one.
